You may purchase the Delphi Lavender products from the Delphi Lavender Fields at 508 Buchanan’s Road, Yaldhurst, on the western outskirts of Christchurch in Canterbury, New Zealand.
We also have a lavender nursery there where we propagate and grow several grades of Lavandula angustifolia ‘Pacific Blue’. This is a lavender variety particularly suited to South Island growing conditions. It is highly perfumed and grows vigorously with a uniform size and shape, making it very good for hedging and mass planting.
We are open to the public on weekdays in December when the lavender is in flower and the fields look a picture. For the rest of the year you are very welcome to come to the Delphi Lavender Fields and purchase the products and plants, but please phone first to make sure we are there!
Markets
You will all know by now that the Arts Centre in Christchurch is closed indefinitely. It is very sad and best wishes go to the Arts Centre Trust Board and management while they work through the processes of rebuilding the iconic cultural precinct.
Libby is now at Riccarton House, Deans Bush on Saturdays. The Saturday Christchurch Farmers Market at Deans Bush, Kahu Road is going from strength to strength and hundreds of people enjoy a pleasant morning each weekend shopping for fresh produce, baking, wines and of course, lavender.
On Saturdays Doug alternates between the Mt Pleasant Community Farmers Market at the Mt Pleasant Community Centre, 3 McCormacks Bay Road and Darfield Farmers Market, Main Road, Darfield.
Doug is also at the Oxford Village Market, Oxford on Sundays, 9am – 1pm.
